I have struggled with the idea of creating a new blog solely dedicated to my weight loss journey for a while now, I was concerned that I didn't want it to be negative or be a downer but the more I think about it I am more convinced that this may be a good thing.
I am by nature very happy go lucky, not much stirs my tide. but I am terribly overweight and it has been a struggle, and this struggle can be very dark. I am convinced every thing wrong in my life has a direct correlation to this issue and I am dedicated to overcoming this.
I am warning you now that this is the Darker side of my life because I will be dealing with lots of different emotions and feelings, One thing I cam promise is that all the way through it I will remain steadfast in my faith that My Heavenly Father is in control of my path and that I can only do this with him. You are more than welcome to come by and visit, Please keep me in your prayers.
"OUT OF THE MOUTH THE YOUR HEART SPEAKS " will still be going on strong and will the display the best of my life, I just really feel like It is time to be accountable, to myself and others, and If someone is encouraged to look inward and examine there own struggles, then "To God be the Glory"
Now the fun part, Naming this blog, Any suggestions?

Giving Beauty for Ashes. I had to change the title a bit. The one I originally thought of was taken.

Lori, I encourage you to follow your heart but more then anything;
May the Lord give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalms 20:4. (Start at 20 and read through 9 also).
I love what "Fete et Fleur" suggested, but please read the above scripture it came to me as I sat here typing this out. I encourage you in all you do, you have love and support in me, after all that is what blogging with friends and family are all about..right? :-))

Anyway, I found the other Name for your blog;
"Securely On High"...cause in Psalm 20 It says;
May the Lord answer you in the day of Trouble!
May the name of the God of Jacob set you "securely on high!" (New American Standard Version)
Then it goes on in verse 4; May He grant you your heart's desire.
*Or you can choose the one in Psalm 21: 1~6;
5. Through the victories you gave, his glory is great;
you have bestowed on him "Splendor And Majesty." (NIV)
So there you have my two choices for your new blog; "Securely On High" or "Splendor And Majesty"
